Forwarded Messages

Hi! I am  KALI , your official Message Forwarder for this site. As our first post for the year, you will not read a forwarded message but a thank you note from your admin. I do not know you personally and vice versa; but there is this chain that connects us. Thanks to Blogger , to Facebook , to Twitter ... super thanks to the technology that bind us together. I want to thank you for sharing your valuable time with me by reading the posts and forwarding the same. This site actually started one typical day at the office; I paused from for a while to relax and refresh my mind. I went online to check, to look for something nice to read... I cannot recall any more where I landed, but I know that it was not what I wanted. So I signed in to my email account, checked my inbox and went over the files of forwarded messages to uplift my mind. And as they say, the rest were history.

If you are a boss or hope to be one someday, consider these suggestions for managers, written from an employee's viewpoint: - My mind doesn't hold the same information, the same experience, that yours does. As you instruct me, please go slowly so that I can keep up with you. - My eveys have not seen the business world as yours have. Let me explore it some on my own. In November, a rare kind of breast cancer was found. A lady developed a rash on her breast, similar to that of young mothers who are nursing. Because her mammogram had been clear, the doctor treated her with antibiotics for infections. After 2 rounds, it continued to get worse, so her doctor sent her for another mammogram. This time it showed a mass.  A biopsy found a fast growing malignancy. Chemo was started in order to shrink the growth; then a mastectomy was performed; then a full round of Chemo; then radiation. After about 9 months of intense treatment, she was given a clean bill of health.  She had one year of living each day to its fullest. Then the cancer returned to the liver area. She took 4 treatments and decided that she wanted quality of life, not the after effects of Chemo. She had 5 great months and she planned each detail of the final days. After a few days of needing morphine, she died. She left this message to be delivered to women everywhere:  ...

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?' The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.' Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?' The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university..' Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked.. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study.
